POSITION:  PROGRAM COORDINATOR 
SALARY: $28,000 - $32,000

Under limited supervision, performs administrative and supervisory work in the development,
coordination and management of programs in assigned area(s) to meet the recreation and leisure
goals of MCCPRA. Work involves supervising assigned divisions; planning, coordinating,
scheduling and executing special events, programs, classes, rentals, and other assigned tasks.
Supervises applicable part-time and full-time employees, instructors, and volunteers as necessary to
accomplish Authority goals and assignments. Reports to the Associate Director.

POSITION:  OFFICE ASSISTANT
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Must possess a valid Georgia State Drivers license and have reliable transportation.

Under general supervision, performs routine to moderately complex secretarial and clerical work in support of efficient and effective department operations. Work involves answering incoming telephone calls, directing customers, and providing information; renting parks, facilities and pools, collecting money for rentals; typing memorandums and electronic mail; and performing other job duties as assigned. Reports to the Office Manager.

POSITION:  AQUATIC TECHNICIAN
SALARY: $10.50 PER HOUR (FULL TIME POSITION)

Under the supervision of the Associate Director, the Pool Maintenance Technician performs general swimming pool maintenance duties to keep pools and surrounding facilities clean, safe, and operating according to Authority guidelines. 

POSITION:  EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF PARKS & RECREATION

The Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Authority (MCCPRA) is a seeking a highly self-
motivated, full-time Executive Director. This is a salaried position with a competitive benefit package

supplemental insurance options. The chief executive officer of MCCPRA, plans, organizes, directs and
oversees all operations and administration of the Authority. The Executive Director is responsible for
creating a customer-focused approach to the delivery of park and recreation programs and services
while working collaboratively with a variety of community groups, elected officials, and other
agencies. Reports directly to the Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Authority Board and

POSITION:  PARK MAINTENANCE GROUNDSKEEPER
SALARY: $9.50 per hour (part-time)

Under regular supervision, performs general maintenance and repairs to ballfields, parks, equipment, and other recreation facilities and grounds. Working alone and with other personnel, performs necessary assigned tasks to ensure that facilities are groomed and ready to accommodate scheduled activities, special events, and public access on a daily basis. Reports to the Park Maintenance Crew Leader.

POSITION:  PARK MAINTENANCE FIELD COORDINATOR
SALARY:  DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE

General Nature of Work: Under general supervision, performs grounds activities and landscaping, repairing and maintaining playground equipment and facilities, and related projects. Work involves supervising as well as working alongside assigned staff, ensuring the upkeep of Authority facilities to accommodate scheduled activities and events. Has considerable knowledge of facility, grounds and equipment maintenance procedures and techniques to assure that industry standards are met and maintained. Keeps facilities clean, orderly, and operational while maintaining a safe environment. Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. Education, Training and Experience: Two to four years of experience in grounds maintenance or related field with two years in a supervisory capacity, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Experience in electrical, plumbing, irrigation and/or landscaping preferred. Experience maintaining turf grass, ballfields, or landscape equipment helpful. If selected, the successful applicant must successfully pass pre-employment drug/nicotine screening. Must possess and maintain a valid State driver's license.
