POSITION: PARK MAINTENANCE FIELD COORDINATOR
SALARY: DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE

General Nature of Work: Under general supervision, performs grounds activities and landscaping, repairing and maintaining playground equipment and facilities, and related projects. Work involves supervising as well as working alongside assigned staff, ensuring the upkeep of Authority facilities to accommodate scheduled activities and events. Has considerable knowledge of facility, grounds and equipment maintenance procedures and techniques to assure that industry standards are met and maintained. Keeps facilities clean, orderly, and operational while maintaining a safe environment. Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. Education, Training and Experience: Two to four years of experience in grounds maintenance or related field with two years in a supervisory capacity, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Experience in electrical, plumbing, irrigation and/or landscaping preferred. Experience maintaining turf grass, ballfields, or landscape equipment helpful. If selected, the successful applicant must successfully pass pre-employment drug/nicotine screening. Must possess and maintain a valid State driver's license.
