Lifeguard
Work involves ensuring that the general aesthetics of facilities and grounds are attractive and inviting to all participants and attendees at parks and facilities.Responsible for preventing, recognizing and responding to emergencies at MCCPRA aquatic facilities and for providing care for injuries and illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.
Aquatic Lead
The Aquatic Lead is responsible for overseeing the safety and operations of the pool area, supervising lifeguard staff, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. This role includes maintaining a safe environment for all swimmers, providing leadership and training to lifeguard staff, and assisting in emergency situations.
Swim Lesson Coordinator
The Swim Lesson Coordinator plays a vital leadership role in the planning, execution, and evaluation of MCCPRA’s swim lesson programs. This position is responsible for managing lesson logistics, maintaining clear and proactive communication with parents and staff, and ensuring the safety, quality, and professionalism of every swim lesson session.
GCIP Intern – Employee Handbook & Policy Alignment
The intern will research current labor laws, benchmark policies from comparable agencies, and collaborate with MCCPRA staff to draft a clear, compliant, and user-friendly employee handbook. This position is project-driven and will result in a board-ready final product with long-term impact on agency operations and employee understanding.
